Shane. I think both teams have a very good defense, but Shane's offense is much superior to WLK's. WLK's not getting much if anything with his WR/TE against the secondary of Shane. Davis is a good RB, but with the cover corners Shane has, they could stack the box.

i just dont see how he moves the ball through the air and considering I dont have to double his receivers. His d-line is his strength and two great CB's but my WR's are physical and are a bigger threat then his WR's. They will have to go to Davis in the running game and I just dont think it is enough in this matchup.

This is a case where both defenses overpower the other offense. I think Shane has the better skill personnel, but WLK's front 7 crushes Shane's OLine. On the other side, I think Shane's D shuts WLK down as well, his corners lock up WLKs WR's easily, and allows Lott to drop down in run support. It's really a toss up game to me, very low scoring. If Shane had a little stronger OL I think he takes it, but he's just to dominated up front IMO

Wlk's d-line might be the strongest out of anyones but remember I have 3 HOF'rs on d-line too as well as 3 in my secondary.

My Dline is outrageous, how much time do you think Brees would have especially with Rod Woodson and Mike Haynes guarding... My oline will dominate with the help of Bavaro and Rathman...

I have to agree... It would be much lower and agree with the assessment... 3 TDs is a lot per team... Damnit I was trying to rescore but that score looks right...

Definitely a low scoring battle. I just dont see how your offense get more production then mine. At RB it favors me, not by much. My receivers are big and physical which could be the difference bc all-around my secondary is better. Your d-line is better. We both have 3 very good to great offensive lineman so I dont think it favors you by a whole lot. Jones is better than Kenn which probably the biggest mismatch on o-line.

Jones-Kenn was probably the deciding factor for me.

I should have built my o-line better. Not sure if keeping Wayne would gave helped me much or if the trade with UK would have helped me more in this matchup...

Jackie Slater is one of the best RTs of alltime, I specifically targeted great run blockers for my offense including the FB and TE... And while you can lineup vs my receivers you have to guard my TE and FB (Rathman was 2nd to Rice twice in receptions and is a great short yardage receiver) which gives McNair some running room as well (3500 career rushing yards and over 30,000 passing... I feel you have a great team without question but I think my team just moves the chains enough to keep you off the field and out of synch...

I spent about "10 hours" finding alternatives for my add/drops:

I was dropping Reggie Wayne regardless but I had a couple plans...

LG Joey Demalleiure for Larry Allen which would have helped my o-line.

But my original plan was getting at TE. It would have been a $7 TE but there were none available. If Antonio Gates would have been $1 cheaper I would have picked him up. And the WR I was going to grab was Marques Colton at $1 instead I got Boldin and improved my d-line and linebackers a bit.
