Oh man, they're saying the net being dislodged is Neal's fault? Roloson flopped.

Not a fan of the refs work so far. A weak hook on Kovy, a weak interference (though not nearly as bad as the hook) when Malone decided to have his legs give out, then they don't call a very similar play on Dupuis SH, the really odd net off the moorings, the quickest whistle on a frozen puck I've ever heard...the last two killed the Pens when they were cycling well.

I was okay with the hook because Kovalev's stick was parallel to the ice and in Gagne's belly, which is essentially the definition of a hook, but I didn't like the call on Letang because they were skating side by side and both players were battling. There was no stick, no free hand, it was an even battle and should have been a non-call.

I thought Roloson was already warned for that? What's the point of a warning when you're just going to let him keep doing that?

Goes from Pens having puck possession in the offensive zone against a tired Tampa line to a faceoff outside the zone that Tampa promptly wins and goes on the offensive.

Isn't intentionally pushing the net off its moorings a penalty? So is diving. Why are they letting Rollie get away with it? He's flopping whenever someone's near him.

Probably an age thing. I never understand the whole "buying the next call" thing when players/coaches yell at the refs. If I were a ref, I'd just get peeved that someone was annoying me and yelling at me, not 'give' them the next call.

EDIT: I also hate that when vets flop they're merely being experienced players working the refs to get a call and help their team...it's still flopping, which is in the book as a penalty in itself.

Yeah, it's a delay of game penalty. Roloson is only doing it when someone is near him, but he's still obviously doing it. It's completely cheap.

Another soft call? I guess he sort of punched him. Yikes. Even ups. Stupid, but I'll take it.

Too bad this isn't football, at least you can decline penalties in that sport.

Complete bullshit. That was caused when Lovejoy was taken down WAY before he touched the puck behind the net. Bull.
