I personally think it's time to hit the reset button. See if you can trade CP3 and Blake. Fire Rivers.
I think it will be Blake for Melo.

I know we're good. But it's the inconsistencies that just make me so livid. That and the fact that the calls Lin's been getting make Lebron jelly.
Hindered? He's probably gonna be out 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately for them that's just a tad too long.I agree, I think Steph comes in via game 4 next round. Given that the Clips are going to have a hindered CP3, the Dubs may be able to get by without Steph for most of the 2nd round.
Regardless, after last night's win this is going at least 6- which means they'd have gone far enough into this round to not alter the schedule for the second round. I'm thinking the Semi's start around Wed. next week (give or take a day or two). Was hoping Portland could stretch this thing out to give Steph whatever help he can get. The way its going, GS could win either way. They can beat Portland and they can beat LA without Paul. There was no way they were beating a healthy Clippers team
It was after CP3 went to strip the ball- he banged his hand against another player in the back. It took a few times of replay and a tricky angle to really catch it.How did it happen? I was driving up from So Cal, so I didn't watch the game. I just watched a replay of the play, but I couldn't really see what happened. When I read an article, it said that it was on a play that DeAndre Jordan defended, and I was thinking, uh-oh, Jordan hurt Paul, but I didn't see Jordan make any contact with Paul when I watched the video.
Ouch...I'm sorry in advance.
At least Blake shares the freakin ball.
It will be interesting if they do try to team up- CP3, Melo, LBJ & Wade, was it?I think it would be more about the fact that Melo is locked in for a few years and he's Paul's good friend.
Both Blake and CP3 can walk next Summer.
So, they have to try to keep him happy or he's out.

Yea, it's unfortunate. That 2nd round battle was going to be a good one between them & GS.Yeah, I posted this thinking he could go at the time. After seeing all of the reports, I'd like to say "an absent-CP3".

The Clippers announced that Blake Griffin is out for the rest of the playoffs and Chris Paul is out indefinitely. Griffin had an MRI on his left quad tendon. Paul had surgery to repair his right hand fracture.
Figured as much about CP3. Kenny spoke about it last night on inside the NBA. Said he had the same exact injury on BOTH hands in the SAME season. Said he was out at least 4-6 weeks each time. This just in:

Maybe if slipping on a puddle of sweat literally seconds after it was created wasn't a fluke accident. This is turning into a battle of survival in the West. The Thunder & the Spurs better pray that none of their players go down. Perhaps the Spurs can use this as an argument for resting so many players during the season.

I don't see that.....you just can't prepare for freak injuries....no matter how much rest you give the players.
But if by chance they do try using that narrative...then they're being disingenuous.
