Steph won't be out the whole 2nd round.

I agree, I think Steph comes in via game 4 next round. Given that the Clips are going to have a hindered CP3, the Dubs may be able to get by without Steph for most of the 2nd round.

Was hoping Portland could stretch this thing out to give Steph whatever help he can get. The way its going, GS could win either way. They can beat Portland and they can beat LA without Paul. There was no way they were beating a healthy Clippers team

My condolences to the Clippers fans. I don't really like Blake Griffin, but I do feel bad for him and especially Chris Paul. Hopefully Griffin can come back and help, but I think Paul is done.

Funny how the script veers off course sometimes. That's why we pay attention and don't ignore the games. SA vs GS for the title? Guaranteed. Then injuries and now it's a mess. But a compelling mess.

No Paul? No curry? GSW vs. Clippers series would be extremely boring now. I'll hope the Blazers win the next 2 and play the Warriors.

How did it happen? I was driving up from So Cal, so I didn't watch the game. I just watched a replay of the play, but I couldn't really see what happened. When I read an article, it said that it was on a play that DeAndre Jordan defended, and I was thinking, uh-oh, Jordan hurt Paul, but I didn't see Jordan make any contact with Paul when I watched the video.

Sucks for Clippers fans...I still think the series will go 7 though.

Blazers have some momentum now, but anything can happen.

Would be super awesome if the Spurs/OKC series went 7 as well.

:hope:

Definitely could happen. The Spurs/OKC series is the best series of the next round. The best organization of the last two decades facing perhaps the most talented team in today's NBA. Jerry West had some interesting comments recently when he said that the Warriors weren't the most talent-laden team in the NBA. Maybe he was thinking about the Thunder as having the most talent.

I think the logo might have been talking about the spurs? They do seem to have it all...coaching, veteran leadership, solid defense, experience, bench depth, size, team 1st attitude, fundamentally sound, very good shooters....

Paul suffered the injury while defending Trail Blazers guard Gerald Henderson and was taken out with 6:07 left in the third quarter of Game 4, which evened the series at 2-2. Paul's fracture was in the third metacarpal, in the center of the palm of his right hand.
