This is turning into a battle of survival in the West. The Thunder & the Spurs better pray that none of their players go down. Perhaps the Spurs can use this as an argument for resting so many players during the season.

I think it will be Blake for Melo.

Another option is Blake to Celtics for a package of assets that Danny has been collecting. That should allow them to be competitive still for playoffs .. and a couple of first round picks.

I don't know if Danny would do it -- but Sullinger, Crowder & 2 first round picks would be solid for Blake. (take that instead of Melo) He's probably also consider Bradley instead of Crowder -- but you'd still have the hole at SF. (no idea how contracts match up)

I like Crowder, Olynyk, Avery......But, I wouldn't trade Blake for all 3 of them.

Bradley can't shoot, Sullinger is 1 contract extension away from going Oliver Miller and this draft is not great.

Blake puts assets in the seats even though he is style over substance.

It's kind of eerie because I was saying a couple of years ago that I didn't like Blake Griffin and thought that he had a temper problem that would eventually get him into trouble. I also said that I thought he would get hurt eventually because of how physical and confrontational he was. I personally thought he had settled down quite a bit this year and then breaks his hand taking punches. It's sad, but hopefully he learns his lesson and comes back with a different mind set next year and is an asset to the Clippers organization
