Bird those birding birds. 6-2 good guys.
LOLI am glad the Giants are giving Villar time to straighten out his hitting. Hopefully, he gets hot soon. I think he'll do well in the MLB but the jury is still out on him.
If he continues to struggle for another week, then I may agree with you on that evaluation. But moving him down now wouldn't give the Giants many options. I don't think Wisely or Ramos are able to come up yet. Armando Alvarez is on the IL with the RiverCats and isn't on the 40 man roster yet. Clint Coultier and Michael Gigliotti are not on the 40 man roster either. No one else is hitting well enough to warrant a call up.LOL
I was just going to mention that he may need a Sacto-Reset soon. I like him and believe he has a future. But sometime guys just get on their heels a bit and need a 2-week “vacation” to get their legs back under them.
All good arguments. Sometimes a “reset” isn’t an option. He is playing decent enough defense to still add value to the team. And as long as his current struggles don’t scar him, than let him harden via fire.If he continues to struggle for another week, then I may agree with you on that evaluation. He has 4 HRs? How is that possible? That is the quietest 4 HRs in the league.Speaking of weird hitting stats - Conforto has 14 hits, 10 of which are singles and 4 of which are home runs.
