I approve of the game, the result, and Tron's effort.

However, Tron is broken until proven otherwise. Timmah had a nice 6 game stretch last season too; we all remember how THAT turned out.

I seem to recall something like a World Series championship, but I don't remember whether it was last year, or 2012, or 2010. ;)

Yes, but you miss (willfully?) the point: Timmah ended up a non-participant. Tron doesn't have the huge contract to protect him; he would be cut.

It is obviously too early for a verdict in either direction, but I have a hard time seeing Vogey finishing the season on the 40-man. Whether that means a 60-Day trip, or a DFA, I don't know.

I am rooting for Vogey and Peavy, but I don't see either of them finishing the season. Peavy appears hurt, or he is done, and that two year contract is a waste. Vogey had a nice game, but I saw nothing in Spring Training from him, and haven't seen much in the first three weeks so far. Early season, SSS, blah, blah, blah.

And tzill, I am not willfully missing the point. I am a professional at it. It comes naturally. Really, I was on the train from Sandy Eggo and trying to be pissy, and would up being a :dunce:
