Why did Maxwell swing? The doggie pitcher could not find the plate with a map. In that situation, you take a hanging curveball, dont you?

The reliever was *dealing*. He was throwing off-speed stuff just off the plate, or just a bit low, or a curve just a bit high. Nobody on the Giants was biting, though. And Maxwell was *robbed*. The line-drive was caught as a jumping, leaping sno-cone by the Dog's 2B. Fantastic play on his part.
