I love Kruk and Kuip, but...

I can't stand Kruks "Lead the league in fun" shtick.

Yes…Trout is the obvious choice. I agree.

Would you pick Bum over Gold?
Assuming money and contracts are non-issues...

Trout is #1. I doubt there is much argument there.

If I had the #2 pick...

I would not take Fernandez due to injury concerns. If not for the TJ I think he would prob be my pick. But as it is, I would consider Kershaw, Bum, Posey,, Abreu, Hernandez, Stanton...

I think I would take Kershaw. But I am hesitant to take a pitcher because they are all soooo inconsistent. Remember, just a few years ago, Verlander was the undisputed best in the game. Now he is Tim Lincecum.

I think I would feel safe taking Posey or Stanton ahead of Goldy, maybe even Abrea. But Goldy would be in the thought process.

Tip of the hat to Heston. Giants needed that big time.

Seriously, though.

Who expected this from him?

When he was called up, my brother asked me about him. I said he is a decent prospect, but in reality, he is a #4/#5 type, will probably have a decent journeyman career. I told him to think of Kevin Correia, and that is about the career Heston could have.

I had no idea this was coming.

On the other hand, don't forget Ryan Sadowski...

That round table sign does not look like green screen. Is that actually there? I thought they couldn't do that because it distracts the pitcher??

Great sign that the D-Backs still couldn't figure him out, despite having already faced him this year.

Good point. Hadn't thought of that angle. And they are a good hitting team.
