Nice, 0-2 to 4-2 for Pablo.

I like your first lineup, although I'd flip Ross and Tejada.

Don't like the idea of Belt leading off at all. The Giants should bat him 7th or
8th and leave him alone. It will be interesting to see what happens when Torres returns.

I thought about that, would it really effect (affect?) him all that much? Probably, don't want to mess with him.

Which was the more impressive AB: Pablo's 1st or 2nd?

Down 0-2, and gets the walk. He would have swung at at least three of those pitches last year.

I am not concerned with Ross swinging at 1st pitches in Fresno. He is working of his health, not his eye.

It's a push. He demolished that ball in his first AB. I like that last AB though, especially laying off the 3-2 teaser breaking ball.

Wasn't that 1st strike to Belt the same location as ball 4 to Pablo, except that the pitch to Belt was lower?

Tough being a rook.

I agree that Belt would be a decent LeapOff hitter in a pinch. He sees a shit-load of pitches and has a godly OBP...

Off to the grocery store. The Giants will certainly rally in my absence.

Worked once last year. ;)
