Shaw and Bednar are on fire in Richmond. Shaw hit his 3rd homer today and is near .400 with 12 RBI in 10 games.

I'd love to see Slater called up to see what he can do, he would also give an option for CF. Still, calling him up means part time playing, and he really needs to keep playing full time.

Sounds like the first move will be from the 40-man roster, so that pretty much leaves Calixte and Kelby. The Giants will save Parker's 40-man roster spot (60-day DL) for someone off the roster when they're ready.

I think there is a pretty good shot we see Calixte here soon.

Pagan was mentioned a lot in the post game show. But I think that if they were just going to turn to him the first time they needed someone, why bother with Stubbs and Upton? But both of them are righties.

Moncrief and Shaw are both lefties. But Shaw is a legit prospect and us only 23. I don't think they want to start his clock yet. Moncrief is not a prospect, and is hitting well in Sacto. Although, he does not have a history of hitting well, so I am not sure he is even an emergency option.

Which brings us back to Pagan. He is a switch hitter, but he has not played since the WBC. He would need at least a week or so just to get ready. And I think the org was ready to move in from him.

All said, I think it has to be Arroyo or Tomlinson, and since KT is already on the 40, and in all honesty, he earned a spot on the roster in ST, I think he gets the call.
