I agree. He needs the innings to defend his spot and to get back on the horse. It is still telling that he is one who gets that call.

We will be going to 7 bully's in a couple weeks, and I fear for his safety. I like Kontos. I don't want to lose him. If he gets DFA'd, he will be claimed immediately.

Well, I don't think anyone pretends that he is either the 8th or 9th inning guy. After that, it's pretty much situational. I think any reliever would consider it an honor to be a member of this bullpen.
