Well, I don't think anyone pretends that he is either the 8th or 9th inning guy. After that, it's pretty much situational. I think any reliever would consider it an honor to be a member of this bullpen.
Absolutely. I am no expert on other bully's in the league, but I have a hard time believing there is another team with as solid a bully, 1 - 8. Others have stronger at the top (Yankees), but no one has the depth.

Like I said, I am not familiar with them. But are their #7 and #8 match up with Gearrin and Kontos?

The weakness of the Giants bully this year is the top of the bully. The remnants of the Core Four just cannot hang with the elite of the elite anymore. But they will all likely be gone by next year anyway.

Watching Affeldt commentate on the post game show. I think I might like it.

Ok, seriously...

Who the hell is this Brown kid? He made it to the 40-man last year out of necessity as a defensive catcher. Now he has relegated Buster to the bench.
Per Brownie on the postgame: "Craw said to Buster 'Finally! We have a catcher who can hit HR' I thought that was pretty funny."

Giants are 5-0 when not scoring first (not including tonight)

Giants are 0-2 when scoring first.

Tough getting off the starting line may be a good stratergery this season.

These boyz can hit.

Kinda cool to have a starter dealing heat like Scrabs tonight...haven't really had that since Timmy in his prime. Only 1 start but you can see there will be games like this.
