I know we have Navy next but Im looking at USC. We need to beat them and beat them good to have any shot.
100% agree, late in the 2nd half we all Knew they were running the ball and couldn't stop them because of being out of position or missed tackles.Another thing that's been bugging me a lot is some of our defensive alignments. Our defense too many times stunts itself out of plays. Schmidt ran away from the play early. When it looked like they were going to go up and down the field on us early that's what happened. I'm glad Van Gorder fixed it but sometimes going base and then settling into the game might help.

We just have to worry about beating teams. You don't have to go out there and dominate a team who is on the same level as you. If we end up 11-1 we will be in the conversation. Point blank
I agree and if Clemson runs the table that will help big time. Think about it we will end up after this week 10-12. Thats a lot of time to move up 6-8 spots. We just have to worry about beating teams. it does but the difference is its not the QB losing games and i trust this team. This feels awfully similar to our reaction to last seasons game in Tallahassee.
Do the wheels fall off again this season? Matching up with Navy as well, just like last year.

Meh. Injuries started hitting during and after the Navy game last year and Golson fell apart too. I think we'll do fine. Need to win out though. This feels awfully similar to our reaction to last seasons game in Tallahassee.

I expect them to beat Navy worse than we did Ga Tech. Having them at home helps. USC looms large. And Stanford is coming on strong. That could be a quality win to end the season.Last season the injury bug bit the defense
This season the injury bug has bitten the offense
Does it catch up to us? Or do we build on this game tonight and take care of business?
Problem is, he's really good at getting guys in the right call. He makes some bad guesses and lacks the physical ability to overcome that. Honestly, I've seen enough of Morgan to know he isn't ready. If he were, he'd be in there alreadyschmitd just runs around taking bad angles and missing tackles. time to replace him. he seems like a great kid but he just isn't cutting it on the field
