Its weird to see him in the 7th spot but very understandable. Now, if Kapler would just swap Solano with Yastrzemski in the 2 hole, I'd be okay with this lineup.

Definitely right to see Posey down in the lineup. Hitting him 3rd/4th again would've been a crime.

The Dh should be Heliot Ramos.

Surprisingly, for the first time in a long time, the Giants actually have a number of legitimate bats to trot out there in the OF where I'm okay with Ramos staying in the minors, barring injury.

This is a big year for Slater. He showed last year that he can be a major threat with the bat, but it was only 31 games. He needs to prove this year that wasn't a fluke because he's out of options and guys like the aforementioned Ramos (plus Bishop, Canario, Matos, possibly Luciano) are in the pipeline and will be knocking on the door soon.

Interesting to see Posey embrace the knee-down technique behind the plate. To this point he's been mostly the standard left knee forward stance. Since Zaidi/Kapler have come on board, they've been pushing the knee-down technique with their catchers with the belief it helps with the low strike calls. Figured a vet like Posey would stick to what he's use to.
