Any reason why we alwayes open on the road?

I think it is two-fold...

1) The Giants ask to open in the road so they can be guaranteed at least 2 opening day gates.
2) I believe they also request a lot of away games this time of year so they can have more home dates in the summer.

I think I remember hearing these as the reason a few years back. No idea where I heard it, though.

Paid little attention to the ‘20 season and zero to ST, but from what I’ve seen tonight starters better be prepared to go 9 innings. Unless it goes extra, then they better summon a little Marichal

The bullpen, as a whole, looked better than the starting rotation. Alvarez, however, did NOT look good in camp.
