Yeah, Gausman's also starting to miss location targets as well
If he’s a nice guy, we call that “effectively wild”. If he’s a jerk, he sucks and needs to learn how to hit the glove if he wants to stay in the pros.

I'm a farm system homer so I was excited for all of those guys. Williamson, I still believer, never got a good chance and just when he was getting the chance, he got the career ending concussion. That lawsuit case will probably take a while to get settled, if it even goes to court.

I agree, I had the most faith in Williamson. Dude had some unreal batted-ball stats (hard-hit, distance etc.). That mound business really sucked, glad it was finally addressed.

Thankful my job doesn't require so many Zoom meetings. I get enough of just 2 of them a week.

I usually avoid Zoom meetings, but there are some groups I am involved with who LOVE Zoom meetings. Unfortunately, once in a great while (like today), all the meetings pile on one another. Can't complain, though, just need to get out of the chair, away from the computer, and put in some steps.

Good shit today, Gausman. He was a hair away from a shutout too, if Yaz's throw to 2nd base was just a little bit better (can we just cut this guy already?)

Interesting that Kapler pulled Gausman that quickly. Two outs, 4 run lead and the bases empty. I would have liked to have seen him pitch to at least one more batter.

Yeah that was odd.... but I guess he wanted to give Barager a chance to come into a clean situation versus one with traffic. Now he can start the next inning with some confidence after the first game/batter jitters have passed.

Or get replaced by Matt Wisler, who is singlehandedly trying to lose this game.

Yeah my theory went out the window quick
For one night at least, the team is also flipping on its head your idea that the starting rotation will be weak but the bullpen will be good. This is getting really ugly, really fast.

I was thinking the same thing. Shows what I know

White gave Garcia two major gifts in that AB, swinging at 2 pitches that were clearly balls. Huuuuge strikeout there
