4-1 a concern?

How many of us really thought we'd be 4-1 (or a 1st and goal from 5-0)?

4-2 would be a good start. If we pull off the win against NO, that would be an incredible start, considering the circumstances.

Brady comes back strong Sunday and the receivers continue to progress, Amendola ready for good game. We can do this. Team needs to pull together but we have a very good defense and this offense is not going to play like last week.

I say, go 5-1 and let all the nay-sayers start pulling their hair out.....

I didn't see the Patriots starting out at 4-1 at all. I knew the first three games they'd be alright, and then I thought that they would have trouble against Atlanta, Cincy, and New Orleans. I think if they beat New Orleans they will be in great shape, hell even if they lose to them they will be alright. The first part of the season (3 games) they had to do what they did otherwise it would have been a lot worse.

The offense needs help that is for sure but if the defense keeps playing like they do then they will be alright. But the defense can't do it all the time, they need the offense to pitch in. Funny how one season changes last year I was saying the defense needs to get better now it is the opposite.

I predicted 12-4, so we're right on pace. This team is working to be a contender by the playoffs, though. Winning now is a bonus.

About where I thought they would be....minus the injuries. Ridley, Veeren, Gronk(pussy), Dola(well....) Vince, Kelly....Happy with the def, thought the Off would have been a tad better.

BS! He has every right to wait until he's 100% confident and healthy. We need him healthy for the playoffs. Also, this is about the long term. His career and not just this season.
