He will starve and then realize you better eat what's offered. My son is 2.5 and I am lucky he likes 85% of what I make.

Mine's nearly 7. I'm just marveling that my wife made what amounts to junk food for dinner, and he still didn't eat it. I read him a chapter out of a book if he eats all his supper. We've been stuck on the last chapter of the first Harry Potter book for a month (we read all 5 Belgariad books last year, 300-400 pages each).
