I played against Achillies Smith in Jr. College, he was an absolute BEAST! He had a running back named Conan Smith... He was good too. Mike Anderson of the Broncos... RJ Soward, TJ Houshmanzadeh, Chris Claiborne in high school... Some great players, and then there was me...

Achilles Smith caught me off guard I wasn't expecting him to bust. I was expecting Jamarcus to bust. A lot if raiders fans called me an idiot because I wanted them to draft Calvin Johnson

I didn't see Achilles scrubbing either, maybe I was hoping he would beast so I could claim to fame him... But I was skeptical about Calvin Johnson, didn't think he was going to be much better than average... I was way off! I knew Russell would suck, saw him a lot when he played at LSU... He was big, pretty fast, strong and could throw far... Those are good qualities but they didn't all mesh with him... He just looked like a big bully on the field, and you won't succeed at QB if that's all you are IMO...
