Do the Ravens get their pre-1996 history since that team moved to Baltimore?

And the current Browns are a 1999 expalsion team.

Or, are the Ravens considerred an expansion team?

Can Jim Brown be drafted as a Raven?

I agree here. It makes it easy. If you take Deion with the Falcons, Niners or Cowboys, you get the greatest cover corner ever, cause he was great in all 3. PManning is as good as a Colt or a Bronco. HOWEVER, if you draft Emmitt as a Card, Steve Young as a Buc, or Moss as a Raider, you get a scrub.

Either do it that way, or just sat a player is a player, meaning even if you draft Favre as a Falcon. You get the Hall of Fame QB

Yeah and it works so many different ways as well.

Like taking Chris Carter as an Eagle or Brett Favre as a Falcon is cheap because while they are their talented selves they hadn't broke out yet. Where as someone like Moss with the Raiders just went to a shit team..we was still HOF Moss.

I like what Nos said, if the player played on the team 3 years they are eligible. Then judged them on careers.

Good one Steve. The Browns history stayed in Cleveland did it not? Meaning the Ravens are an expansion team and the Browns are still the Browns. I believe thats the way it went down, correct me if i'm wrong.

Normally when a team moves, the history goes with it. But when the same city gets a new team and call it the same name as the old team, I'm not sure what happens...

Normally yeah but I believe when the Browns went to Baltimore they were told not only would they get a new team but they would keep their history.
