On the first post the OP nos posted this statement

Players must have played at least 3 seasons for the team you draft them to represent.

That's why I said I didn't think Bruce Smith played for redskins for 3 seasons. If he did play for skins for 3 seasons then he is okay to be selected as a deadskins.

He'd still be the Cowboys best pass rusher. I do want the rules clarified, I thought if the player had been with a team 3 years, he was taken as the player he was. If that's not it, switch Smith to the Bills, if it is, leave him

I also thought we were judging on career/prime... I thought the 3 year rule was so you couldn't pick a player like Mike Vick as an Eagle who was there 1 year so you could still choose Deion as a Falcon... Like establishing residency to kind of close loop holes...

I just checked Smith played 4 Seasons with the Redskins so he is eligible to be listed as a Redskin.

You are correct. People misunderstood me I thought Smith played less then 3 seasons as a redskin.

Being a redskin fan I know we kept him on the team just so he could set the sack record. Then we cut him. He sucked as a Redskin but we all know how dominate he was a Bills player.

YES, if he did not play for the team for three years you cannot use him for said team!
