Embiid being out for game 1 really makes this series interesting.

It also puts a lot of pressure on Brooklyn to get 1 or both of these games in Philly.

Embiid is the player Brooklyn has no answer for. Without him in the lineup, I think Brooklyn may be the better team.

This will be the most intriguing game of the day to me.

Hmm. The Sixers still have more top end talent than the Nets even without Embiid. It's a lot closer though.

I don't think the Nets have a big that can exploit Boban so he might be able to get meaningful minutes today.

I think the top 5 is fine (without Embiid, the top 4, though we all know he is the best player on the team). Russell and Dinwiddie have carved up this team before. I guess the question is, can Butler step up his defensive game or is what we've seen this season where he's at now?

Boban is a taller, possibly worse version of Okafor.

They have more talent for sure. That does not make them the better team though. Nets are greater than the sum of their parts. I can't say that about Philly.

As for Boban, it isn't about big men exploiting him. It is about guards exploiting him in pick and roll. The Nets absolutely have multiple players that can do that.

Boban might be able to provide a few minutes here and there, but I seriously doubt he will be asked to play more than a minor support role in Embiid's absence.

The Nets have been a great story during the regular season but with or without the huge douchebag.....I think the 76ers will win this. It just may take 6-7 games to do so.

I'm worried about my Nets today. Young team who may let the playoffs pressure get to them.

Getting off to a good start is crucial.

A win today makes this series IMO a 6 or 7 game series

They need to get 1 of the first 2 in Philly for sure.
