not liking the fact that zetterberg won't start the series.

on the other hand, getting kronwall back is a huge boost. he's always been a good playoff performer.

and datsyuk, especially after yesterday's performance, looks just about as good as i have ever seen him in his career. it's amazing what the wings gaa is with him and without him, don't know the specs, but it's about a 1 goal difference.

would it be blasphemous to say he may be the wings' most important defensive player? ugh i feel dirty for even suggesting it, but he is no doubt in the top 2. even more important than his scoring and offensive prowess, his backchecking yesterday stopped at least 3 quality scoring chances by my poor man's count.

the fact that he is missing a playoff game tells you how serious it is. i would be surprised if we saw him in the 1st round. and even if we do he is not going to be nearly as effective as he normally would be.
