But did he define what "winning" is from his vantage? If it is championships, they ain't winning.
Winning is winning regardless of championships.

And one win away from the conference finals. I think Miami's run ends against Boston. But I can see it going 6. If you were to tell me that this core would take Boston to 6 games in the conference finals, I'd be all for it. Don't know how Cavs fans could argue that.
what Cavs' fan did as far as my comments were concerned?

Still clinging to a lost argument, well done.
Lost argument?

How's that? Never mind to win the argument the Cavs need only go 40-42 but how could it be lost when the Cavs cannot complete their end until 2023?

Ya gotta love this forum......still.

Got it, so he's going to stay as long as the Bucks win one game a year, 'cause winning is winning.

Very possible?

Cmon man.

Not impossible, but also highly unlikely.

The Heat are very good now, have a really good young core, a good coach, a winning culture, and a destination market.

The Cavs meanwhile are hoping to get in the mix for 1 of the final playoff spots over the next 2 years.

No, I would say it is very unlikely the Cavs will be better than the Heat anytime soon.
Highly unlikely? are you even aware the comparison (or bet) would Cavs year 5 post Lebron vs. Miami year 5 post Lebron (so last year for Miami)?

Don't be stupid. If they are over .500 that's as good as winning a ring. GnG knows his shit.

They need a miracle. This is the floor for the Heat team over the next few years
wow..you too (not surprised)?

Is everyone just messing with me(well played if so)? The Heat season we are comparing is last year to where the cavs might be in 2022-23 (this year irrelevant).

He should go to the Pacers then, the win themselves to perpetual mediocre to good more than any other team.

I just figured out how it's possible. In the very near future the Heat trade Jimmy, Bam, Herro and Robinson. And Riley might be dumb enough to do it since one fella sayz he doesn't know what he's doing. I suggest they trade Bam to Boston for Kanter.
I figured out how it's possible too......Cavs just get a little better every year to win 40 games 3 years from now.

What the Heat does in the future has nothing to do with this.....which I suspect you might know but I get it...you were bored and wanted to argue about something.

I agree.

Also think I misread his post.

He is saying if the Cavs win 40 games they are better because of that arbitrary 5 year line.

Forget that the Heat has better seasons than that both before and since while the Cavs are struggling to get 20 wins.

I am almost always on team tank, but Miami doesn’t ever need to do that to build a contender.
Not really what I was saying. I mean, it is, but I was going by the comments we were told Wiggy made (not by me)...that what he said was Cavs would be better 5 years post Lebron than Miami was 5 years post Lebron.

and, yes, I'm sure if asked if Cavs would be better 6 years after he'd have said they would be.....and I believe he'd be wrong.

Not only that, as of today, even though the Cavs had higher draft picks the last couple of years, it appears the Heat drafted better.
Mix that in with the fact that FA's aren't picking the Cavs, they currently have no path to
be better then more than a handful of teams and certainly not better than Miami.
Yep....but irrelevant to this discussion.

Here's the bestest reason for Giannis to go to Miami. Buckyboy would instantly jump on the bandwagon and proclaim himself the biggest Heat fan around. He'd start by saying Giannis is the greatest Heat player ever.
That's ridiculous.....

......He'd just name 3-4 other elite players who would go to Miami who could replace Giannis and would sign there for less.
