Nope, still think im smart. I still think Lebrons weakness is hitting the clutch shot. I just understand Lebron got lucky a few times.

all the data you asked for was provided and showed otherwise and you just dismiss it? really?

Did you read my response to the clutch stat? I think it's garbage. The buzzer beaters proved he has hit some, but I would still rather have Lebron taking a game winner over actual clutch players.

Am I biased in thinking this is the best match up in the conference semi finals?

I think it is a tie with the Clippers/Rockets. Love injury hurts this one, and if Paul is seriously slowed it hurts the other.

Lebron isn't as good athletically as he was 3-5 years ago. Neither were Kobe or MJ when they were 30. However, they were smarter basketball players at 30 so there wasn't much, if any, decline in their overall production. At 30, Kobe and MJ were still able to turn on the jets and drive to the hoop, but they did it with less frequency and inserted more mid-range jumpers and post moves into their games.

It's the same for Lebron, he is smarter than he was a few years ago (except for how he handles free agency :dhd:), but he's not forcing the action and driving to the hoop as much as he used to. Just like Kobe and MJ, Lebron is still putting up the numbers we're used to seeing, but he's doing so in a little different way. That's also why he's still the best in the game. He's making the necessary adjustments to continue being a great player.

In a weird way, I think the Love injury might help the national audience for this one. It obviously hurts the Cavs... but sort of adds intrigue to the series.

Plenty of people already thought this would be a good series... but when the Love injury and JR suspension went down... I feel like the number of people who really thought the Bulls could win went up by a lot.

Those are facts, not much more I can provide. You said he sucks in the clutch when he has in fact been the best so now you just call him lucky.

Bottom line here is does Chicago step up on defense and will Cleveland's supporting cast step up and play really good bball? Who will be more disciplined and take better shots? Will D Rose play in control and not force things on offense, which would help his turnovers?

Tune in later.

Calling Lebron clutch after Bulls fans have watched the best ever in the clutch..?? We just haven't seen the clutch shots from LBJ that MJ hit series after series, year after year.. That's why Lebron doesn't seem very clutch.

2 different catagories:
1) Clutch shots
2) Being solid in big games

Getting 35 points in a game 5 or 6 in the finals is stout. Hitting game winners is clutch.

Ray Allen bailed his ass out or LBJ would be 1-3 in the Finals.

Did Paxson and Kerr "bail out" MJ?

People need to go back and watch the 60 seconds before Ray Allen's shot and think about how that game ends without some clutch shots by LeBron.

Paxson hit a game winner in game 6 at Phoenix I believe. Series winner as well.

But he didn't bail out Jordan. He was wide open.

Ray Ray got the ball and was covered. Not that it really matters, but Jordan wanted the ball in the clutch.. Not sure sometimes if LBJ wants to take that last second shot. Not saying he was stout in that big game at all.

For another game/series winner, please see Avatar. ;)

Take into account that we Bulls fans have been spoiled when it comes to shots at the buzzer.

We all shouldn't expect LBJ to hit every shot, but we Bulls fans just haven't seen a lot of buzzer beaters by LBJ..

Could be coming?? Who knows.
