ok, till the end of the Finals. That sounds fair.

I guess gordontrue and purguy have an avi bet. Now who wants one with me?

Bengay? I got a good avi for you, if the Cavs win :laugh3:
I wanted gordon, but I guess I'll just have to settle for you..... Sigh....

Well I was the first true Cavs fan here, as far as I know. So...you can call it settling if you want

It's a bet then. Keep avi until after the Finals

lol...he scored 0 points in a game seven! that just cracks me up...i was looking through some box scores and just saw that and remembered it. The Heat need to list him as a SG....its an insult to the position of PF or C to list him as such.

AS for this series- is FINALLY HERE....months of waiting.

Everyone know that this would be the REAL eastern conference finals since the first jump ball of the season.

I love all the back stories. The fact that Chicago has this chance with the Cavs missing $25million (a third of their payroll) in their best two big men- and that it makes Chicago desperate to win- If Chicago loses this series where do they go from there? IT would be devastating to the franchise

The Cavs though have a ton of pressure too. LeBron came back to win titles- and the buildup has been huge. They played the best basketball in the league for the last 3 months of the season . Kyrie exploded on the scene. The trades were strokes of genius by David Griffin (and why he ended up runner up in the Executive of the Year award). If LeBron could bring home a championship to his home town team and break the streak it would go down as the greatest accomplishment of his career.

And just think of all the story lines- Joakin Noah is public enemy #1 in Cleveland ever since he ripped on the city. That whole Bulls team really really dislikes LeBron for all the times LeBron has escorted them to the exit door of the playoffs. So many intriguing matchups-

Kyrie v. Rose
Gasol v. Mozgov
LeBron v. Butler
Blatt v. Thibs
Thomspon v. Gibson is an underated matchup..

The Old Champsionship Quarter to Perkins, Miller, Jones, Marion- can they give the Cavs something?

all the little games inside the game will be fascinating to track and see how the coaches adjust.
Only thing that would of made this better if the winner went to the Finals. I cant wait for tonight

I agree about Gibson vs Thompson. Should be a fun rebounding match up.

What!? The good guy? The good guys are the under dogs. The good guys are the guys who have a chance after so many injury riddled years....

Actually, most of the players are probably good guys.

My AVI for you is going to suck by the way. I've never really done one of these bets before.

Not for the series. Face it, Cleveland is the empire and the Bulls are the rebels. Lebron is emperor palpatine/darth sidious and Kyrie is Darth Vader. Pau is obi won, D. Rose is Luke Skywalker, Butler is Han Solo, Mirotic is Chewbacca, and Noah is Princess Leia (cuz he kinda looks like a girl.) Kevin Love going down and JR Smiths suspension give the rebels the opportunity to strike. Have fun cheering for Darth Vader Asshole! :D

Not sure about Rose being like Luke Skywalker. Due to his injury history he's more like Humpty Dumpty. One more fall & something else will be broken.:becky:

I equate the injuries to Luke Skywalker trying to fight Vader before he completed his training with yoda. Now he's completed his training and is ready to go.

Heat won the game. He blocked the Spurs final shot.
Sure, it wasn't his finest game, but he still contributed to a game 7 WIN.

James so-so series performance vs the Mavs will far be remembered as more damaging then that performance by Bosh.

And LOL at Cavs fans thinking the EC semis is some great accomplishment.

Cavs -240 to win the series.
Should go 6 or 7 regardless IMO.

Any performace of LeBron's will be remembered - for good or bad - more than any performance by Bosh... so I don't think that's saying much.

The Cavs defeating this Bulls teams in a series - especially given the Love and JR situation - absolutely would be a significant accomplishment. I mean I am expecting it. I, personally, would consider the season a serious disappointment if they lose this series... but that doesn't cheapen the accomplishment.

Well of course with the Cavs having the best player they are favs but with the current situation the first two games it is closer than I think. For the series bc of the homecourt and Lebron and Kyrie. Cavs are still favs but slightly IMO

Does Lebron think all of us are idiots?

You stopped wearing your headband after 12.5 years in the league because you wanted to look like your teammate? So you never thought about that the previous 12.5 years? Just admit you had a procedure done so you no longer need the headband because your hairline isn't as bad as it used to be
