Only series indy played the last 2 seasons without their opponent having significant injuries was Boston and we know how that ended

All I ask for is for the Cavs to be healthy in the postseason...3 years in a row. It's in the water.

It doesn't matter who is on the court they gotta battle tonight

This game doesn’t change Cavs winning the series but it does show me that the upset could happen. If Indiana fell apart when Cleveland came back and took the lead, that would have been sort of expected. Instead they hung in there and took the counterpunch and stayed on it and won.

Cavs are now in for a long series

Good point as that was often what happened this season after we went on one of those runs to seize control.

Why is Jerome attempting 20+ shots?

More than Mobley

I got nothing. Jerome took more shots than Mobley and JA combined....and they hit 15-20 and could not be stopped in the paint.

But again in no world was it good news DG was out no matter how it affected the D.

They couldn't stop CLE in the paint. Jerome missed some bunnies but I also felt like he was forcing shots. Cavs were getting some great open looks. Sometimes shots just aren't falling...that being said, I expect KA to change some things up based on G1

Nobody is worried except for the fans that haven't watched this team all season. I give credit to Indiana...they shot about as great as they could.

I also think people don't realize how important Garland is too this offense. I had questions about him in the past, for good reason, but he has pretty clutch this year and he can easily penetrate the defense. The best facilitator on this team BY FAR. Take Hali off Indiana and see what happens.

I guess I agree.....but really last year and rookie seasons were only ones he could be questioned.

No doubt we need him to win this series.

I mean often outside guarding the perimeter or helping on drives.....had we been crushed on boards it's an issue. But we weren't.

Might make some changes I'm sure....but having DG would be huge (and of course not losing Mobley). Sometimes really is as simple as hitting shots you normally make.

Think I'd be inclined to lay off JA on rebounds as sometimes can be all over the place on his totals.....though would think IF Mobley is out he'd be good for a double double.

Hope we don't find out.

Hoping that Evan's ankle isn't really bad. And Hunter's thumb, is it on his shooting hand? Also how long is Darius expect to be out?

One thing about game one. Can the Cavs move Spida to PG? Jerome's a nice player but not a PG. Thought he looked a little slow at time.

Exactly.....between them good for 20 per game but never know how it's gonna be divided.

as you can imagine the Cavs fans who like to be critical wanted to rip JA (and admittedly thought you might have been before you said was a parlay why pissed) but if it's a game where we were even on boards and were far better on offensive glass who cares who gets the boards?

But, yes, have been games we got crushed on boards and JA (or Mobley) only gets 4-5 and you question them.
