WE gots some big cities here so yeah traffic does sucka bit if you are in and around Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin or San Antonio, but everything else about the state is awesome!

I was around Austin this morning for my VA Disability claim and going 5mph on the highway but you are right once out of that area back to going 85mph

You'll learn to start scheduling appointments not during drive times and also leaving early or late to avoid them as well, it can be maddening, Houston is worse than any place I have ever been in my life! The drivers there are fucking crazy too...
