We will need help to move up much if we take care of business with Navy and Purdue. BYU may be ranked when we play them. If we win out we have a chance for a BCS bowl, but no chance with another loss. The Irish seem to be improving. If ND finishes 10-2 with the schedule they had, they would deserve a BCS bowl.

deserve one yes but play someone they could actually beat? Man I hope so. Would love if ND could somehow play Louisville in a BCS bowl. I know we could win that

Polls are a joke. We should be in the top 25. We just blew out air force and we beat USC last week. they never give us credit.

But those teams are garbage this year. You don't get much props when you do that. Especially when you barely hang on to beat a shatty U$C team.

I think we're where we should be. We aren't great, but we're far from terrible.

The teams that concern me are Fresno State (who has barely beaten some really crappy teams, and has no good win) and Northern Illinois. Both of which are currently undefeated.

Even if we don't make a BCS game I'll be happy with our season as long as we only lose 1 more game the rest of the way. Can't really complain about a 9-3 season with Tommy as the starter

I don't know the rest of either of those schedules, but I'm guessing they look favorable for those 2 to go undefeated.

I said 9-3 this year and it looks like that is where we will be. I will take it. I think next year will be a good year with our Freshmen WRs breaking out last game. Robinson is going to be a beast.

I tend to agree here ... and I hope we are both right. This kid has shown he can go up and get the ball and he has the perfect size to be a big-time WR ... plus he comes from some pretty good 'pedigree'.

Hope he can stay healthy too.

He reminds me of Randy Moss. before I get crazy reactions I just stating he looks like a player that you can throw it up and he will come down with the ball. Not saying he will be a NFL hall of famer like Moss but I think he might put up some crazy college stats. We just need a QB to throw him the ball. Lets Hope Golson stayed active.

Yup ... and Golson could still use some work on his passing game, yet, also ... especially after blowing a year. Still makes me sick that he totally fucked up and we lost him this season. At least he had the sense to come back. Who really knows what we'll get from him . . . ? ? ?

Very true. I think with Golson this team would of went 10-2 or 11-1.
