Most popular/face of baseball was Jeter (and Pujols) for the 2000s, for the 2010s it was Posey and Trout and Harper, 2020s Ohtani and Judge obviously

that's kind of my point after Jeter(who I am a yankee fan, so maybe his popularity was not as HUGE as I thought it was), but I didn't feel Pujolls or trout were ever in the same league in popularity as the people before him...

posey, I think that Is just you being a giants fan, and he was popular because he gave you championships.. but I don't think the rest of baseball loved him that much...

Ohtani is special and different... judge is more of the traditional fan favorite...

but was Pujols or trout ever really there?? I know trout, they tried to make him the face of baseball... and it just didn't work out...

Well, the good thing about these last couple rounds is that completely bad choices are getting removed from the nomination pool…

there was a lag around Bonds and Clemens too... more so Clemens... he was pushed back a while... last round was really the first time we gave AROD a chance to win... AROD has a better chance beating an old school player than a fan favorite...

IMO he has a better chance to beat Mathewson than Koufax...

That's a good way to make lemonade out of lemons!
