Is Dach even good? Honestly asking.

He terrorizes us, but I admit I don't watch a lot of Hawks games. Lot of energy, decent speed. Between Laine and Voracek could break out.


But if Dorion can fleece the new guy, I can't wait to see what Jarmo could do to him. Maybe we'll get Dach for that rando that Jarmo signed out of the swiss league.

That’s been rumored for a while. Hoping the Leafs buy low on him, think he’d be a great fit.

After the DeBrincat deal, the Leafs might be able to get him for a 7th round pick.

Thinking about the Sens’ pretty deep prospect pool and how in the fuck don’t you get at least ONE prospect when trading a 24 year old 40 goal scorer?

And other GM’s, how dont you beat that? How does NJ not just straight up trade #2 for him if they’re serious about improving ASAP (unless they aren’t really)? How about Philly if they aren’t actually rebuilding? Carolina’s usually all over this kind of shit.

This league is so weird. Now JT Miller will go for double the value and people’s heads are gonna explode.

Re New Jersey, based on Tom Fitzgerald's Q&A yesterday he sounds like he's content to stay the course and keep it status quo which is enraging considering how long we've been rebuilding.

On a personal level I didn't want him. Our core group of guys are really tiny. While adding more tiny skilled guys isn't the end of the world I think we desperately need to start adding some size/grit/complimentary pieces. If we did make the playoffs we'd get manhandled out of the first round.

They could've done that, signed Mason Marchment or Andrew Copp or someone similar and found some size on the back end (Zadorov or Kulak maybe).

Like, these guys will fret over something trivial when trying to get a 40 goal scorer in July then pay a fucking boatload for Ben Chiarot in March lol.

I think it's unlikely that deal would've stopped the Sens from trying on Debrincat but it may have cost them a prospect in addition to 16 that they were more unwilling to let go.

If they're going to try on Chychrun or anyone else it'll still probably cost them that but the fact they didn't have to throw one in for Cat is still a massive win.

/I still do not want Murray unless he's bought out and signed cheapy cheapy or the Sens toss in something tantalizing
