How do taxes in Ohio compare to NJ and Pennsylvania?

From an income tax perspective for his income bracket the highest is NJ and the lowest is PA.

I can understand wanting to play closer to home, but leaving a team in Calgary's position for Columbus and taking less money to do it? Can't see the logic there.

OH & PA about the same. NJ a lot higher.

Columbus is further away from Lethbridge than Calgary is. The logic checks out even if the math doesn’t.

Sales and local taxes OH is higher than Pa and NJ with Pa being the lowest.

Property taxes are hard to gauge since it is so variable but depending on where you live PA can be lower but that is a big if.

The other benefit to OH over Pa and NJ are those pesky auto safety inspections. That is one of the most crooked yearly pieces of crap you have to do in PA.
