It makes me wonder how much the Isles and Devils were actually in on Johnny, even though he grew up in Jersey, it's well documented that he was a Flyers fan and when the Flyers pulled out, this decision was made rather hastily. At the end of the day, to leave that much money on the table is a pretty bad job by Lewis Gross.

I can understand wanting to play closer to home, but leaving a team in Calgary's position for Columbus and taking less money to do it? Can't see the logic there.
