Teams aren't taking another QB the following year if they drafted one in the first 3 rounds. Cards are the exception. Also if the FO passes up on a QB prospect and that prospect pans out then FO has once again failed to establish QBoF.
You have more confidence in this class than i do

Quinn ewers is being coached by mike McCarthy heading into the draft and he will fully participate in the combine.
Will he be high on Schneider's draft board?

I think Ewers has a higher floor than Dart, i have not doubts about that but i think Dart if he can be developed could be special and could end up with a higher ceiling. He isnt ready now and may never be but he looks the part and has everything you want in a QB. There is no doubt he ( Dart ) needs to grow and i think with the right coaching he could be a special player. This is why it sucks to me that Darts name has seen so much rise this offseason. He is a 4th round project QB maybe even a 5th that will be over drafted.

Depending on if and when the Hawks draft a QB in 2025 will determine how i feel about it. Dart in the 4th i would be very VERY Happy with and maybe even a late 3rd but in the 1st hell no. Ewers in the 4th Yeah i'll take it but in the 2nd or 3rd no.

Smith would've been nice, I'd rather see us target one of the many OLineman in this draft that actually convert to left guard quite nicely, and then fuckin' start Haynes... and if anything put Bradford at LG (where you do want the freakish athleticism). If Haynes is on the bench this year I'm going to be pissed... and you watch him get released/traded and go become a solid starter somewhere else... ugh.

I think Seattle's big problem right now with the OL is coaching. I'm glad we got Kubiak because I think he and his staff will help a lot.

Oh i 100% agree it has EVERYTHING to do with coaching BUT, Huff never got a chance. He had built some nice Olines at Washington and 100% needed another year as we saw flashes where the line would hold up VERY well. He was working with trash that had been badly coached, it Takes time to break bad habits that were taught to these kids. You cant always jump ship after one year but maybe they saw enough in their eyes. I saw a line that played like crap all year long but i also saw that same line show more and more moments over the year of good to great play. Not often but there were moments where you could see it working at a high level. yes those moments were like 0-2 times a game at first to like half a dozen times a game at the end of the year. Play calling could have helped more also. Running PA at what 10% or less didnt help one bit.

Not starting Haynes at RG was effectively unforgivable to me... especially with how much we passed. If you're building a passing team (which Seattle CLEARLY wanted to do) you want technical guards. If you can get a blend of both freak athlete and technicality perfect, that's your all pro guard (easier said than done). But starting Bradford over Haynes was fuckin' insane.

Haynes plays zone blocking much better then gap blocking in college according to stats on the subject. So maybe it was just the wrong scheme fit for him last year and the scheme this season could be a blessing for him. Haynes was a third round pick, so a day two pick and not a early one at that. Not sure what the hit rate is on middle/ late day two picks. Be nice if he does way better this season.

I would have paid Smith and still draft o-line first round.

Yeah I was fine with drafting a Olineman even if we signed Smith. The talking heads say we need 3 lineman and maybe even 4 depending on Lucas.
Going with 3 I'd like to see the next top o-lineman FA pickup and run with 2 o-line prospects in the first 3 rounds. Definitely first round.
