The Bears working the phones to trade up and maybe take Jeanty before the Jags or Raiders can select him.

The Jags also active to move up or trade back. Very active according to a few different "NFL sources."

How dumb is this when you have no clue who will be available :noidea:

I was scratching my head at that as well. I just assume that there’s something I haven’t considered.

I think the Texans-Browns trade isn’t horrible. Some teams can see that players they like might cluster around the fifth and want more exposure. Some teams might want more volume. Someone probably wins that gamble but I can understand it.

The Browns may want to trade to get a 2nd 1st rounder (later in the 1st).

Trade a 2nd (early pick), 3rd and a 5th?

Draft trivia.....

Who was the oldest #1 QB draft pick at the time of his debut?

Really, that's the last straw?

I think trading down theoretically might make sense for Cleveland, TBH, if they can really fleece a team for multiple firsts.

This is not a strong draft so trading down and getting future picks might be wise for a franchise with many needs and some structural cap issues to sweat out in the short term.
