The big thing about rd2 QBs is that there has to be a reason why they turned things around to become a starter.

Geno Smith - Came from a gimmick West Virginia offense that just threw screens. Had to endure the Jets and find stability.
Jalen Hurts - Was 21 when drafted. Athletic freak.
Jimmy G - Played at Eastern Illinois.
Andy Dalton - Underwhelming tools but productive
Derek Carr - Underwhelming tools but productive. Threw a lot of screens in college IIRC
Drew Brees - undersized (not really a factor anymore if the hands are good. Brees would be a top 5 pick in modern NFL)

Sanders could work his way into being the next Derek Carr. Carr family is known for being difficult. Seems like the Saints have already been down this road. I'd imagine they would go a different direction but maybe thats me.

All of those guys were very dedicated hard workers that put in time to play at a high level.

You think Sanders fits in with any of these guys?

If Seattle takes Sanders at 50 (or God forbid trades up) I'll lose it...

I require a select few of you to stop me from nomming innocent people as we near beach season.

The thing with Sanders is that is teams don't think he studies the game he'll be UDFA.

I think Milroe is an interesting guy, but not for a team that needs someone to walk in and play day one. If he were drafted by a team that could afford to let him sit for a year or maybe two, he could surprise. Meanwhile, he could be a bitch to deal with in short yardage

Milroe is an interesting guy at round 5-7...

"Shark you're just racist."

Yah, that black fuck can't throw the ball!

There is a HUGE chance Milroe wont do fuck all, regardless of whether he sits or not. I don't get all this love for a guy that has shown ZERO QB talent in the slightest.

I don’t get the Milroe hype, he’s just not that good of a passer, and he didn’t improve much during his time at Bama, despite being surrounded by lots of talent he just didn’t look great or put great numbers. He’s athletic and a good runner but I don’t see him being a franchise QB

I think it would be a HUGE mistake to take Sanders at this point. I love what the Browns have done so far.
Me too but the GM doesn’t listen to me

I don’t know what to expect but I think they are out on QB early. Might be trading

He is Anthony Richardson part 2.

Massive amount of athletic ability and can throw absolute stripes and throw the damn thing 80 yards.

But when you look back on their college careers, they had games where they were simply horrific. Not bad, but horrific. You have to be able to show up and play at an All-Star level each week in the NFL. You can't be an aloof QB in the NFL and get it done.

He's similar to boom bust will take a while as Milton, so I don't think we would add another. But this is Jerry....

Milton who? I really don't get it.

Who the fuck is Milton? Every year these insane athletic QBs don't start is like you bought a new fuckin' car... it depreciates MASSIVELY. If you're a running QB you don't IMPOROVE year over year.... the fuck?

Malik Willis? Anthony Richardson?

Look I get it. End of the day "draft the black fast guy... cause we can sell jerseys and appeal to the younger market." I mean that's really what it is... and you pray to everything that it somehow works out. It's a gamble.. for sure. But it's calculated. "Hey Mr. Owner/CEO, we'll prob. make $90M in sales by drafting this dork, who wont prob. do anything... but net us like $50M. So let's just take him, and then if it doesn't work out we profit and then setup for someone like Manning who will make us billions."

I mean that's an exaggeration, but that's how it works, guys. I'm not in the NFL, but I've spent a lot of years in contracting/financing/sales.

I’ve compared Milroe to Richardson before. I actually think Milroe is slightly better, at least he led Bama to winning seasons, Richardson couldn’t even do that at Florida, but yeah I doubt Milroe does much in the NFL. Richardson going at #4 will forever be hilarious to me, it’s the epitome of a team drafting a QB because they felt they had to, because anyone who watched college football knew that Richardson was nowhere near worthy of a 1st round pick.

Yeah Milroe would need work. The way this draft is going, I would take him in early 4th sit him behind a veteran for a couple years. The guy works extremely hard and he wants to learn. Will Howard is same but Milroe’s athleticism is through the roof

I would rather have Howard than Milroe, Howard is a better passer
