If I was the one that wrote this we would be having a full page of troll posts commenting on it.

From a Nuggets fan, KCP at that salary has considerable negative value... Memphis must like his fit with Morant.

Otherwise, they must be expecting to hit on 2-3 of these picks, which is asking a lot.
Memphis seems to be in a rebuilding mode around JJJ and Ja. I’m just not sure it will matter bc it is difficult to rebuild and be a mid-tier team. Unless their plan is to put a trade together for a star that becomes available in the near future

This gets them from tier one to tier two but not in championship contenders imo
Maybe one more complementary piece and the Magic will be right there, IMO... especially by virtue of the fact that they're in the weak East.

If healthy... their defense is Top 5 in the NBA...

... and their offense is beginning to look interesting... maybe one more 3+D guy to spread the floor...

Love that move for orlando

I don’t know.

They could be next year’s Indiana. Could work out.

But they are giving an awful lot for a good, not great player.

I will be the first to praise it if they take a leap next year. Could look really bad 5 years from now though.

I don't think they realized how much of a loss Dillon Brooks was going to be...

Unless I'm missing something (maybe one of the picks was rerouted from somewhere else), this was an underwhelming haul for Memphis.

Basically a role player (who plays same position as your franchise player) in Anthony, a bad contract, and four mid firsts at best...

I think one of the picks is from Phoenix.

That one could be pretty valuable.

If they make the finals within those 5 years, does it really matter how bad it looks in 2030 or 2031?

Yeah just noticed that... Lord know what Mat Ishbia is doing down there. The rumored Booker extension will hamstring the franchise even further.

I wonder why? Lmao
I really don't give a shit... Just stating fact.

As least I'm not naive enough to believe others don't believe the difference between Jaylin and Jalen.

I would like nothing more than to hamstring the Thunder franchise than to dump the Obi Toppin contract on them... Might be a good fit for them on the court but their roster is going to get a lot more expensive as they continue to win.

I may sound biased here, but late 20's Paul George is only marginally better than Desmond Bane is today... And Memphis won't be getting any SGA headliner in this trade.

The Clippers in 2019 were very much a forced superteam to compete with LeBron and AD in their own city... They really weren't built w/ delicacy at the time.

4 Unprotected 1st rounds and a pick swap?

For Desmond Bane !?!?

Orlando is drunk.

Desmond Bane is a fine player but that's an overpay. Jacking up the marketplace for everyone else now.
I'm just questioning who exactly people think KCP is at this point...

East is weak next year. Remember they were top 3 because they got hit with injuries
A long offseason to go so who knows about the East. Sure but they mortgaged all their future assets for a borderline AS player. That’s a move that could ultimately hurt them more than help. I like the fit though

Who cares about KCP. He is a throw-in for salary purposes
Shams included mentioned him as a "championship piece"...

I know Lakers fans may overvalue their most recent title but Nuggets fans do not... The smart ones among us are well aware that Michael Malone and others had to go.
