Define elite. Tunsil is PB level. That is not elite. He has never made an AP team. Jordan Mailata, seventh rounder, is an AP and is elite.

Elite is subjective. If the guy is considered one of the best pass blocking LTs in the league, and the stats show this, well he sure looks elite to me. You have a different definition. I'm not sure we can claim you need to be Trent Williams to still be good in your mid-30's. Hell Morgan Moses is playing at about the same level he always has and just got a new contract. Not elite money because he was never elite.

I agree Tunsil is elite at pass blocking; however, there is more to the game than pass blocking. When you factor in run blocking and penalties, he falls to PB level…not elite level.

The truly elite do. Tunsil is not elite. He has been very good but even the elite start to fall off in their 30s. So if a very good LT begins to fall off, you have just another pretty good LT.

And for me, HOF means you are the best and that is signified by AP selections. He HOF is so saturated with good players, it takes away from the great ones.
