What draft picks are risky in your opinion. The only only one one so far I see is Ben Sinnott why are you complainingI like AP and feel he has done a great job . That being said the idea he can make spectacular trades but his draft picks are “ risky “ doesn’t fly with me and that is the underlying theme when justifying the Tunsil trade. The vet is safe so we can overpay in draft picks and criticism is not warranted.
Getting Tunsil doesn’t bother me , the cost of draft picks is 2 to 3 too many
You caught the wrong part of the conversation . Dean was saying AP could be trusted trades like Tunsil but his picks could be risky . I believed AP’s ability to make picks is very goodWhat draft picks are risky in your opinion. The only only one one so far I see is Ben Sinnott why are you complaining

i said draft picks are unknown versus proven players.
Proven players are frequently unknowns based on work ethic, motivation and schematic fit.
of course, there are busts in the draft and in FA.
We are betting on LT will be better than the 3rd this year and 2nd next that we gave up for him in the trade. There is always a risk.
But you had just said draft picks are unknowns versus proven players.
Better when and for how long at what cost? You think Tunsil is this great player today. How long do you think that will last, as he is 30 today? Do you think a player like Moore, plus those two picks are better for the team next year? How about in three years? Do you look to resign Tunsil, or did you just want him for two years? Maybe we should just franchise him if he is still playing that well in a couple of years.
Do you understand opportunity costs?
Another strange hill to die on. Jayden avoided far more sacks than he took, we know what holding the ball too long looks like and he was not guilty. It’s a two sided sword. JD can extend plays, which we will all gladly take, but at the same time, extending plays can lead to sacks.
I am talking about the many times JD took a less than two yard loss running out of bounds while being contacted rather than throwing it away. This is a statistical sack that doesn’t really exist. JD chose to run it out and people count that against the OL.
That remains so weird to me. I understand TEs or whatever he is take a year to develop. But I honestly thought he may have been the safest pick they made, including Daniels. I figured it was obvious that they would carve out a role for him but he was a ghost and we can't ignore this. What draft picks are risky in your opinion.
