RB class is said to be deep.
Most early returns say Skattebo is 3rd round and some say 4th round. I guess I keep looking for reasons not to take Jeanty at 12. I'm so confused.
Personally for me in this situation, we have some serious shit for our line and we have serious shit at RB, so we take a lineman. If it's that LT, that's the one. RBs are awesome weapons and you see that on display with Barclay. He had line issues in NY. But we all saw the talent. In Philly he put up 2k. You can win with a damn good RB and great line but hard to win with just an eh line and a 2K RB.

yes many factors in football and we haven't even talked about the other half of the equation. We suck there too and gonna get worse as our good FA going elsewhere. I would hate it but I would love it for Tank to jump to the team that has a home field in Landover Maryland, and win a superbowl just to poke jj and company in the eye.

He's been my favorite on this team for a long time.

I’m a Brugler guy. His list won’t be out for a while. I really don’t care much about any other draft list. They just cannabalize each other. One moves a guy up or down and then they all do. Then everyone judges the pick based on where the Kipers have them Which is just BS. The other list I like to look at is Walter’s mock draft because they give a nice little write up on each guy but I’m not sure I trust their rankings much more than anyone else’s.
I read what you guys say here and go by that mis mash as gospel. Why are any of those guys better than the guys here?

Seriously.

Some of them (not all) watch hours and hours of tape on the top players. The casual fan just watches the games and not even all of them. But, it is of course still subjective and to some extent a crap shoot. I just think Brugler knows his stuff and a lot more than any of us on here

The ones who watch hours and hours and hours...... don't mean they are better. Guys here do too. I trust you 100% more an any name you mentioned

Now, I don't do deep dives like you guys but over the years i have seen guys on here right about talent better than "experts". Outsider looking in type thing, they are not as good but have a platform. MO.

with our new head coach announced...I'm now sure we draft Jeanty at 12, IF he's there at 12
Jeanty would be a great pick at 12. If we don't go RB there, then the place to grab one IMO is round two. The spot is deep, but with the success of the Eagles and Ravens with Barkley and Henry, I think they will fly off the board before we pick round 3. I can just see the Cowboys fucking this up. Jeanty is the cream, most folks seem to rank Hampton from UNC and Johnson from Iowa as the next two. Then there's a clump of Judkins, Skattebo, Henderson and Harvey. All those kids look like players but I really like Henderson and Harvey. Henderson is every bit a young Tony Pollard and Harvey...that little shit has some mojo

He does. He approaches his job like a paid scout, he puts in the time. I think that's what makes folks on here more informed, you can see not only who their work uncovered but the video breakdowns they used to make their analysis

I am thinking about guys Jeanty,Simmons,Warren,Jalon Walker,Mason Graham. All will be difference makers

I am heavily leaning Simmons and then drafting a back in round two.

But I won't be mad if they draft Jeanty.

I like what I see when it comes to Simmons. Guyton would then be the swing tackle. LT is a major problem on offense. Simmons would fix that problem. Look at the footwork and has the quickness to block smaller pass rushers. And those penalties by Guyton were horrible. I don't want Guyon starting at LT in 2025

Totally agree about not waiting until round 3 to take a RB. I think Skattebo will go before our 3rd round pick. I These fools need to realize where the value in this draft is going to be. RB is loaded and those guys will go sooner than most think. I think most those backs you listed are going to be starters sooner rather than later

I like going OL then RB. Simmons or Banks would be great in round one. The one guy I would trade up for is Graham who will be an All Pro DT, but we can't do that

Check out Mike Green from Marshall as a sleeper shooting up towards the middle of the first round. Kid is an explosive pass rusher. 17 sacks this year
Green sort of reminds me of DWare. Not sure if he can have that kind of impact, but that is who he reminds me of. Green has a lot of pass rush moves.

Paramount Network No GIF by Yellowstone
or can we GIF by Kim's Convenience

All top Defenses control the middle & own the trenches.
So if this guy could do these things for it. I am ok with with losing draft commodities to secure that (finally)

Give me top DT or Center & I'll take that way before any new shiny draft picks!
I'm a firm believer in building from the inside out.

DT is pretty deep through round 3. I think past Graham, there may not be a DT worth the 12 pick. I wouldn't even mind doubling up at DT, even with all the holes we have. Fix that one

if you think Graham is head & Shoulders, the guy.
I am down drafting "the guy" at any position if it secures it for a decade (hell even 6 years) Especially at DT.
Now if he is marginally better than the next guy, ok. I get not wanting to trade up.

I can see us going in so many directions this draft & I am still happy.

So it is really gonna piss me off when Jerry ruins this LOL :mad2:

That's the worry lol. Graham is going to be an awesome player, I would be shocked if he made it past 5-6. There are a LOT of interesting DT's that should be there last round one-round two though(I think RB and DT are the two most top heavy positions). TyLeik Williams OSU, Kenneth Grant UM, Deone Walker UK, Walter Nolen Miss, Derrick Harmon Oregon, Omarr Norman Lott UT, Alfred Collins Texas...all those guys look like the could be studs

I don't want to pass on Jeanty if he is looked as such a game changer. Like you, I can see them messing this up trying to think they a smarter than the other owners like reaching for Jaylen in the second round when no team was gonna take a chance. And to top it off, we could not even have him for his first year. What a colossal mistake.
