The hole in one by Charlie was absolutely awesome to witness. Really cool moment.

They fact that Langer was playing from a tee in front of Charlie is absurd. They really need to re-evaluate how they handle tees.

Langer is 67 and doesn't hit it nearly as far as Charlie Woods, who looks as if he can really play. It was a fun event to watch for sure.

Langer averaged 275 off the tee this year and had 8 top 10s in the Champions Tour this year. The typical Champions Tour setup is 7,000 yards. Langer played this tournament from 6,000.

Charlie averages about the same distance based on the internet reports and played from over 500 yards longer on the course than Langer.

This isn't even close to apples to apples.

Langer is HOFer and the fact he's still very competitive with guys > 15 years younger is incredible and unprecedented. But 275 is below average these days even on that tour. The reports I read said Charlie averages > 300 yards. But yea, Langer should have been moved up a set to 6500.. Price, O'Meara & Faldo too.

Always like watching the pros play on courses I've played. Think my best on that course was in the mid 90's.
