I don't know, it might be, but it seems to be a sincere effort lol

Not too sure about that. He has the Sens picking a guy called Richard Damage (Dick Damage) at 39. I don't believe such a player exists. Same with Edward Steady (Steady, Eddie) later in the 2nd round. Also Laxson Stankoven at 21? Pretty sure that's just a made up name with Stankoven after it. Far as I know Logan doesn't have any brother who play hockey.

Had me going for a bit because some of it seems real. The real question is why bother with such an elaborate, yet unfunny joke? Really makes ya think. Which I guess is the sign of truly good art.

I think we've all learned something today.

A little odd to do this before seeing what the draft board looks like at 11. Especially with it being such a crap shoot this year

I’m assuming they want a Dman and figure one of the ‘good’ ones will still be available regardless at that pick?

Yeah, always wierd to see these way in advance.
Such a leap to assume what the board will look like at 11.

Unkess someone else was sniffing around the pick and they just wanted to upgrade for the hell of it (their board falls off sharply after 11 or 12)

From the Sabres point, it absolutely makes no sense.
I would say from a Sabres perspective, it does make sense.

Pretty wide open draft class at that range, so dropping three spots for a high 2nd seems like a good move.
You are likely still going to get someone on your list at 14 as opposed to 11.

Doesn't make a lot on sense for SJ for the same reason. Unless they have a very clear idea of who they want, and who is going 1-10.

There seems to be considerable speculation that the Flames may try to move up in the draft from #9 overall.

Guess they really want Demidov.

Who the roster player was matters, but I doubt Philly would have given up anything good. And almost certainly not someone worth looking past Lindstrom or Demidov ourselves for. 12 is probably too late for Sennecke. Good pass.
