Keeping Track of players I like that I have posted film on so that I don't duplicate

Oregon WR Troy Franklin
Texas WR Xavier Worthy
Texas A&M LB Edgerrin Cooper
Iowa CB Cooper DeJean
Two wr's and one db... switching positions after all these years?

DeJean looks really interesting from the highlight videos DC posted. Lots of balls skills, athleticism and a great tackling ability shows up. I didn't see a lot of Iowa games this year though and didn't notice a lot of running with WR in the highlight videos. How does he stack up there and how is his speed?

Hes a white guy playing CB at first round NFL draft level on a great defense.

How fast do you think he is? ;)

Athletically gifted out of the roof. Probably similar to Riley Moss with speed.

He returned punts the last two years and was one of the better PR's in the nation.

Iowa actually started to use him at WR late this year and then he got hurt in practice missing the final 3 games and bowl game. Gave him a few reverses in games, ran some routes and then he got hurt. His offensive snaps was about to spike up.

He was about to go Champ Bailey/ Charles Woodson on the nation. ;)

I would say Travis Hunter but Cooper didn't have bad games like Hunter did a few times this year.

TE IMO totally key to winning way more games next year if we keep Wilson

Trey Benson, RB, Florida State

RB from this years draft that I love. Talked about him a bit earlier in this thread.

I think Bowers is a stud and our TE play has been a weakness for too long. However, I would rather see the Broncos grab a QB, Edge Rush or CB. So, I would not give it high marks.

What would be the consensus if we took Brock Bowers at Pick 12?
It postpones the inevitable. But I'd love it depending on how FA and the Wilson situation shakes out. He can help our running and passing game, and if we had to endure sub par qb play another year he could offset that somewhat.

Of course we'd likely be on the cusp of the playoffs the next year, have a bottom third draft slot, and have to give up a lot to get a younger qb.
