Finally........................some interesting news.

Greg Bedard of the Boston Sports Journal reports this.

On Thursday, during the on field practice, Robert Kraft was standing on the sideline and called Matthew Judon over and they walked away and had an extended discussion. Bedard said that a lip reader couldn't see what they were discussing. Kraft tapped him on the shoulder and Judon ran back to practice and immediately started instructing a couple of the new guys. Kraft on the other hand walked back to practice and immediately grabbed Eric Wolfe and talked with him and then Jerrod Mayo was brought into the conversation. Bedard laughed and said, "Kraft spoke and there was a lot of nodding from the GM and HC." Bedard then said that no one knows what was said or what the conversation was about with Wolfe and Mayo, but Judon seemed to be pumped up after talking with Kraft.

Couple of questions.

Is Kraft getting more involved in personnel issues?
Did Kraft tell Wolfe to get off his ass and get this Judon thing settled?

How often does an owner pull a guy in a contract squabble off the practice field and have a chit chat??

He'll be on Plavix for no less than 1 year. That's the standard to prevent the blood from thickening. Standard after any heart procedure including just having a medicinal stent inserted in an artery. The bitch is that you have to be extremely careful about cuts and bruises. Skin also gets very sensitive to tearing.

Don't expect him back until next year.

Now Godchaux has just a little more advantage.

The 34 year old QB has been the Seahawks starting QB for the past two seasons and has helped the team stay competitive. His backups right now are Sam Howell and PJ Walker and neither has been providing any confidence to the coaching staff.

The Seahawks have reportedly called the New England Patriots to check on the availability of QB Bailey Zappe. It's not known what the Seahawks have offered, if anything. On Friday, Zappe was not involved at all in the two hours of 11 on 11 or 7 on 7 practice sessions. Could it be that the Patriots are seriously considering trading the #4 QB???

Not likely to get a starting left tackle but I'd be curious what the are offering.

My guess is the flying rats are offering a couple of bags of balls. I'd hold out for a team offering 3.

We don't want to pile on the guy but... c'mon.

He's comfortably been the least-impactful receiver during camp, and was demoted to the second field during one of the competitive team periods -- where he repped with Bailey Zappe and Joe Milton III. He did get a few reps with Drake Maye, but fell on his only target before the ball even got to him.
