Lakers throwing away a 2nd round draft pick on a scrub who probably cant even make the d league if he had a no name father.

Far from a waste.

Lakers D team league will have more eyes on it in the next two to three years than any other D league team. By far probably. That also will make the most talented undrafted players want to sign with them for the next couple seasons.

That is not a bad thing. Finding a hidden gem is still rare. But the Lakers for the next couple of years now have a better chance of finding one than almost every other teams.

Hinson shot 42% from 3 on 7.9 attempts per game at Pitt. That is a LOT of 3s, lol.

No team would take him at all if not for his last name. Unless there's a rush to sign 8th men off crappy college teams
Were you just as outraged as Giannis' brother taking a roster spot away from somebody else?

He took a spot from someone who deserves it on his own merits and not on his daddy's name Someone else could have had a chance at a career in the NBA helping his family with generational wealth and instead went to a person who if he never worked a day in his life would still be wealthy
Where was your outrage over Giannis' brother getting a roster spot?

Honestly I don't see a way in which he could be any worse than Thanasis Antetokoumpo. But I understand the gripes here.

I would love it if the Clippers pick up Boogie Ellis.
If it's mid to late 2nd round.....sometimes it is better to be undrafted....they can pick where they want to go and some of those deals are guaranteed, wether or not they make the team.

He was projected in that spot or a little higher.

Other teams were considering drafting him as well, but Klutch apparently started telling those teams "don't do it or he'll go play in Australia"...if that's true, then that's some bullshit by them. But as far as Bronny getting drafted, he didn't take anyones spot.

And before you say "they were only considering it to try to get Lebron"...Lebron already said that he wasn't choosing his FA spot based on who took Bronny and at least a couple were teams that Lebron would never consider.
