even the worst drafts this century produced at least 3 all stars.

Just means you need to be better at scouting them out.

You don't have a Wemby for a flagg more than once every few years anyway. But there are guys who are second or third dudes on title teams here.

they wasted alot of draft capital creating trade exceptions they didn't use and then making moves for tillman and springer.

So they need to do it.

Sure just more difficult to find. Honestly, just more luck involved. The top 3 could all be busts. Makes a huge difference for those bottom teams which sucks. For the rest of the league not a huge difference. You better have great scouting and development

they might be better off trading the pick with Nnaji's deal and trading for a veteran who can help them day 1.

I haven't looked into that range much with the Lakers picking before and long after (17 and 55).
