There are 14 WRs making more money than him. If he was the MVP then certainly the NFL doesnt think so
The NFL is a passing league for sure, but I think Saquon was MVP last season, he was the spark that made the Eagles O go, all the way to a Super Bowl win.

Call me biased but I think they would've beaten the Chiefs without him

That said, its a good signing for the Eagles.

Perhaps, given the Eagles excellent D in that game plus Mahomes not playing well, but they wouldn’t have gotten to the Super Bowl without him, he was the driving force on offense all year, and although he didn’t put up big numbers in the Super Bowl, the focus on him opened things up more for Hurts and the passing game IMO.

I'm starting to think Hurts is getting underrated. He is the driving force from what ive seen

He is 43-12 the past 3 seasons

what did moose do with Clayton?

I'd like to think game planning woulda been so much different with no Barkley on the roster.

guess will never know but bring Clayton home.

LOL

The gameplan would've gone differently but, outside of the fact that the Chiefs dont understand the tush push, if they sell out against the pass they didnt have the players to stop Hurts from scrambling.

Im not saying the Barkley contract is bad Its great. Im not saying Hurts is a top tier passer but when you factor in the legs on top of the passing, he is the Eagles offense.

The Chargers would be a good spot for Adams. They could use an experienced WR with all the young WR's they have there. He wants to be on the WC.

I agree that Hurts is kind of underrated, he’s very good, but Saquon was the driving force on the Philly O, he ran for 2000 yards and teams based their game plan around stopping him. I don’t think the Eagles would’ve gotten to the Super Bowl if not for Saquon

They don’t get to that game without him and maybe they don’t get the stuff they got offensively without the Chiefs ganging up on him.

NFL award named MVP - nope for Saquon. Whether anyone agrees or disagrees this has become a QBs award. Maybe if he broke Dickerson’s record he was but he didn’t.

Actual MVP of the best team in the league this year - without a doubt that’s Saquon. When you hear players talk about him the first thing that comes up isn’t about on the field stuff. It’s how he leads and the culture he helps to create. Eagles already had solid culture but coming off of losing last 6 of 7 games (including playoffs) in 2023 they needed a spark and he took that on.

MVPs don’t usually win Super Bowls. I’ll take the Lombardi and I bet Saquon would too. People will talk about this as one of the best seasons ever by a RB.

I think Adams is cooked. Hope I’m wrong cause he was a great player.

Specifically with the Chiefs, I've seen Hurts play us 4 times I believe and he has looked good every single time regardless of who was around him.

MVP is kinda meaningless in the NFL. Too many teams make the playoffs for that. All-Pro is still probably the best measure of a position and from there it just is what it is. Is Barkley a better player than Chase or Jackson? Apples and Oranges.
