I wish more people on this forum understood that. Beat reporters are all about the clicks. accuracy is secondary. Here’s the other thing. All they really do is interview one another. Consequently, the same rumors get spread around and eventually reported as fact by someone who needs clicks.I think it is possible. You have to let DQ talk with Allen.
As mentioned these writers job is to look into every avenue and not care what shit they stirrup. Only a few people actually report anymore. The rest are looking for click bait and sensational story.
Orlavsky called Maye .... Big Ben
I remember being part of that conversation and if memory serves me well a lot of it was about "clicks" if a reader didn't like the particular writer or slant and substantive reliable reporting if the reader favored the writer and pov.A few years ago this board had a long discussion about sources , particularly un named ones and how valid the story is . It’s about clicks not real reporting .

Personally, let's start over (since we are) and gain more draft capital.I wish more people on this forum understood that. Beat reporters are all about the clicks. accuracy is secondary. of course this is not just limited to sports reporting. This is pretty much standard operating procedure for mainstream media nowadays.
