taking fields only becomes logical if the oline get seriously rebuiltJunkies this morning.
Option A
Fields for a 2nd or 3rd and draft Harrison Jr. or Fashanu
Option B
QB of your choice at 2.
This is the draft to do ittaking fields only becomes logical if the oline get seriously rebuilt
I agree with most of that. I just hate the narrative that is being pushed on this board that if we don't draft LT at 2 our QB will have no protection. We have 90m and two very high 2nd picks.
i still don,t see him available for trade. This is the draft to do it
Deep LT draft.yes but there is no stud LT in FA, then you have to hope the LT in the 2nd round plays well.
Don't overthink this class of QBs! Instead, if you're going to draft one of them focus on what you and your organization have to do to build your team around what each does well in the systems that they are most comfortable working in. I'll say it again. 80% of busts result from organizational dysfunction.D2
This is madness.
Williams is elite but is a prima donna.
Daniels had a season for the ages, but was it a fluke?
Pennix doesn't miss but had health issues historically.
All 3 have flags, but it has to be 1 of these 3 right?
Heaven helps us make the right decision...because I have no clue.
Sty, thoughts here?
I'm going to create a thread asking about this very thing!i feel like this at 2/3 we have a shot at maye , nails , pennix or daniels . i would stay put and take who isnt drafted 1st . to me the bears should stick with fields and draft MHJ . then go LT . if they dont then you wont get nails but i a not crying if daniels , penix and maye are our choices
There might be a better way, look for my new thread on the subject titled... "Trades."After they take QB I'm torn between packaging the #2s and grabbing a LT in the middle of the 1st. If they don't package those picks, I'm praying JaTavion Sanders is one of them.
I disagree, since some here are dead set on recreating the "HOGS" how about converting a couple of our tackles into guards?only washington ol man worth keeping is cosmi, and maybe gates.the rest are total shit.
He ran too much while at Indiana and those injuries resulted from it. If anyone wants to be further impressed with this young man, try realizing how much discipline it took for him to not do what so many have relied upon as their go-to... Run!Falco !
I agree but as the 4th QB off the board.
After I catch up on reading the posts that have been presented while I was away, I'll create a post that could present a solution to this issue. I'm all for keeping Howell as the starter next year... unless! Look for the thread titled, "Trades" and I appreciate your input once posted.Dad, we are
well, I can see a scenario where he is the guy next year. It comes down to what we do with that first pick. I could see shen laying the numbers out, including, but not limited to,success rates by position by pick. l have maintained that everyone of these top QBs all have risk. Sam has regressed. The question for shen is which risk is greater? Risking on an unknown or a known that has slipped? Because Sam has the physical tools needed to succeed, but he needs work on reading, and reacting to defenses. shen may very well say risk of the unknown coupled with the risk due to failure rate, and recommend staying with Sam for another year. And not going for a QB with that pick. In fact, if that’s the way he goes, I wouldn’t be surprised if he also recommends trading back.
